  • SENIOR DESIGNERS Positions Available at Afterhours

    Founded in 1995, Afterhours Group Jakarta has become one of Indonesia's leading design consultancy companies. By creating and producing innovative design, we have helped many individuals and international corporations to find their identities and images among their audiences as we believe thoughtful design can be a powerful force of change and a key to success. 2010 marks the shift of our business focus into PRINTED and DIGITAL BOOKMAKING. For that, we urgently need to add a couple of Senior Graphic Designers with passion and experiences in structured layout and book design to our creative team. Reporting to the Creative Manager, the Senior Designers will be responsible for exploring and conceptualizing design alternatives from initial ideas within a specified time frame to final design solutions. With a minimum of Bachelor degree in Graphic Design, three to five years of previous creative experiences and unique portfolios, the Senior Designers must also possess strong initiative, presentation and organizational skills. Computer proficiency including proficiency in Macintosh OS X and design-related software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop are essential. Experiences and familiarity in Apple iPhone OS platform would help tremendously. Senior Designers will also have the ability to manage project timelines and responsibilities of Junior Designers and Graphic Operators and be able to delegate work effectively and appropriately. They must be able to deal with multiple projects and receive constructive criticism of work/designs while maintaining a high degree of quality.
